Welcome to Emma's Hugs
emma
Emma’s Hugs was birthed to honor our third child, Emma, who was diagnosed in the summer of 2008 with a neurodegenerative disorder known as Batten Disease. The disease strips the child of their developmental milestones, has no cure, and is always fatal. Emma lost her battle with Batten Disease February 1, 2010, one month shy of her fourth birthday.

Emma’s Hugs is our way of memorializing the time in Emma’s life as a sweet toddler when she gave great hugs. It is our goal to assist families who are in the Texas Medical Center with “random acts of kindness”, if you will. It is our desire to randomly pay for parking or meals with no regard to anything other than people being there.

We appreciate you stopping by, and hope you will look around, read the stories, look at the pictures, and pray you will be inspired to donate to our cause.

Have a great day!
